Who we are

NeighborWorks® Rochester is a nonprofit organization and a member of the national NeighborWorks® Network. We are a full service housing agency that serves the entire City of Rochester and throughout Monroe County. 

We assist families looking to purchase their first home through a number of initiatives, loans and grants. 

We are also committed to creating sustainable communities through our services such as our lead paint inspections, home improvement loans and energy services program.

Home Improvement Loan

We provide loans to assist people who live in Monroe County in making home repairs, improvements, or addressing emergency situations. Our housing analysts can help homeowners to identify repairs that are needed, develop a scope of work, select a contractor to complete the project and then act as a liaison between the two throughout the project as needed.

What Sets Us Apart?

Unlike banks, we are able to work with our customers to find creative solutions for their lending needs. Best of all, there are NO income limits on our loan programs!
