Purchase a Home in a Healthy Blocks Neighborhood

University of Rochester employees may qualify for up to $9,000 in down payment and closing cost assistance through the Home Ownership Incentive Program.  The University Home Ownership Incentive Program provides new homeowners in Sectors 4 and 6 of the city with $3,000 from the University, $3,000 from the City, and up to $3,000 from either Advantage Federal Credit Union or Canandaigua National Bank & Trust. The targeted areas are Sectors 4 and 6 — primarily the 19th Ward and Plymouth- Exchange neighborhoods on the west side and Highland Park and the South Wedge on the east side.
