Brooks Landing Neighborhood Block Party

In August of 2008 the Brooks Landing Neighborhood had a block party on Monica Street. Over 250 residents came together to enjoy free food, a bouncy house, great raffle prizes, an American Idol-style singing contest, and much more! This event was made possible by a grant from NeighborWorks America. In October 2007, residents attended a Community Leadership Institute in Boston, MA where they were able to plan for this great event.
