Solar Lights
At the kickoff event in June residents
of our newest Healthy Blocks
neighborhood voted
on the unifier project for their
neighborhood. Choices included
flags, planters, house signs and solar lights, which
were the most popular by far.
This project will provide a solar light for every
home in the 19th Ward Healthy Blocks neighborhood
free of charge. The lights can be attached to your
home or porch, and are easy to install, or we can
install them for you in less then twenty minutes.
They require no wiring and will stay lit for up to
ten hours fully charged.
NeighborWorks®
Rochester ordered the lights this summer and so far
has installed 30 lights-25% of the entire
neighborhood. If you live in the
