Last month the Arts
and Cultural Council for Greater
Rochester awarded NeighborWorks® Rochester a grant for
$4,325. The grant will support a glass mosaic art project on
light poles in Swillburg – one of our
Healthy Blocks
neighborhoods. Healthy Blocks is NeighborWorks®
Rochester’s targeted neighborhood initiative, the goal of
which is to create neighborhoods of choice in the City of
Rochester through physical and social reinvestment.
Funding for these grants is made possible by the New York
State Legislature and the New York State Council on the
Arts.
